New Heirlooms

I made this christening dress a few years back for the baptism of my niece Elisabeth Camille.  She is now three and we have a new baby in the family to baptize.  On Sunday my niece Jamie Lyn (Jae) will be baptized.  I am honored to have something I made involved in the baptism. 

I had intended (you know what they say about good intentions) to embroider Elisabeth's name and birthdate just above the hem detail in the back.  Now, let's just say that I have twice as much embroidery to do. 

I'll get around to it sometime before the next generation starts having kiddos.
