In The Navy

Perfect weather in Boston today.
We took the ferry over to the Charleston Naval Yard today to tour the USS Constitution.

If you purchase a flag on the USS Constitution the sailor on board will run it up the line,
salute the flag, run it back down and present it to you.

Our boy scout got to assist the sailor in folding the flag and then he presented it to Ben.
Very cool.  We are now the proud owners of a flag that has flown over
the oldest commissioned ship of our US Navy.

Of course our obligatory shot with Peaches.
This dog is getting around!

We strolled up to the Bunker Hill monument.  Beautiful, breezy day so the views were wonderful.

Our delicious dinner tonight at Fire and Ice.
Really fun concept restuarant with very happy grill cooks.
They did this as soon as I pointed the camera at my son and hubs.
I guess that they have had their picture taken before.

I was trying to snap a pic of Ben reading - again!

BTW, while on vacation I don't have access to Photoshop
so these pics are presented au naturel.
