Today was a good day. My GFWC Legacy ladies (plus two other friends) came over to work on a sewing project for the sweet orphans in Thomaseau, Haiti that I will have the privilege of seeing again in April.
We had lots of sewing machines, sergers, and sewing notions covering the kitchen and dining room tables.
Besides sewing and serging there was lots of ironing to do. Lots.
The project is coming together nicely. I will be posting some finished project photos sometime before I leave in April. But for now, here's a peak at a small portion of what we got done today.
Yep, I would say a day chock full of volunteerism and fellowship constitutes a good day.
