Tonight my woman's club met for our monthly meeting.
Occassionally we have a used book sale. These sales are perfect for groups for three reasons:
1. It gives the perfect excuse to gather up and get rid of unwanted books.
2. One can purchase used books at the sale for a very reasonable price. The money collected goes into our scholarship fund.
3. The remaining books are donated to a worthy cause. We usually give the books to the Friends of the Library. Tonight we voted to give the books to a member's friend who is working on her Girl Scout Gold Award project which includes collecting books for a library.
